Thermostat opening temperature

I've tried the search but can't find it.

What temperature does the thermostat on a G60 open at please?

Mine seems to be about 95degs ish.

think you will find its 92 centigrade but what temp you see on the gauge will be slightly differant

After it opens does it stay permanently open or does it cycle between opening and shutting as the temperature changes?

The reason I say this is sometimes my rad feels cool in the bottom half and other times feels hot, either situation can happen after decent runs but the water temp never goes above 100 on the gauge.

I think stock is 87... at least i had 87 and now have one with 84 (centigrade)
