Can you swap passenger and driver's door handles?

I suspect the microswitch in my driver's door of a VR6 '94 has died so wondered if I can simply swap the driver's door handle with the passenger door handle as that is working fine?

Nope.

 

Not as far as I know.

 

The striker pin on the handle strikes downwards so unless you can remove and flip that, I don't think it's do-able.

VR6 is correct, you can't do it. After playing around with door handles to create THE door handle repair kit I've found they are completely opposite hand.

yup as said above^ theyre the same but opposite if that makes sense.
