timmaaah 0 Posted November 23, 2006 Right - I was wiring in a power supply for me gps unit. I used the switched live from the ignition that goes in the back of the stereo (brown with red trace iirc). At one point I stupidly managed to short this out to earth  . It now has no power going to it. I've found the cable coming out from the ignition switch - am I correct in assuming that the switch has probably melted (I've got continuity from the multi plug in the ignition switch to the stereo end meaning the cable its self if ok) and I'm gonna have to replace it, or is there a fuse somewhere that may have blown (none blown in the fusebox) Please help as I've now got no tunes
