Ad2408 0 Posted November 27, 2006 Hello All Been on here a while (used to have a Inca Blue 16v) but now spend most of my time playing/sorting out the Girlfriends Nugget that she has named "Gwen" :? Anyway thought i'd stick some piccies up. Plans for the future? - Refurb the wheels and fit the new centres when they arrive (if they arrive...... stupid post office ) - Sort out the paint - Sort out the dodgy wiring of the stereo. Nugget is definately one of the great colours on the rado, but it they might as well have called it Marmite Yellow as you either love it or hate it! I love it! :)
Ad2408 0 Posted November 28, 2006 Charlie's just read all your comments and she thanks you for them, she's just got to get her saving hat on now so she can get it all one colour! Thanks Adam
Goldie 2 Posted November 28, 2006 I used to hate yellw Rados and now i think they are ace. Saw yours carpy25 at Castle combe and it looks quality.
carpy25 0 Posted November 28, 2006 i had a lot of fading on mine ,it would polish up about 80% but fade back off quickly in the end it had to be painted ,that was done three years come next march and already the bonnet mainly is starting to fade again but as i had it painted in sandox flat colour not base coat and lacquer it should be able to take a few good machine polishes the embarrassing faded pic  Rob
mattnorgrove 0 Posted November 29, 2006 Got a great mental image of Gwen Stefani's valves now.... Mmmmmm......
Ad2408 0 Posted December 1, 2006 Update..... Booked in for paint 11-15 December, bargain price (cheers Si) I'll post some before and after shots when its done.
Ad2408 0 Posted December 16, 2006 The car is back from being painted and all I can say is wow! Superb job done at a great price (Cheers Si!) I'll let the before and after pictures do some before and after shots... The yellow doesn't look bright in these pictures but thats the camera/weather and not the eye-hurtingly bright paintwork :D (And yes I know they've put the 16v Badge back in the wrong place  , i'll be sorting that tomorrow)

chubbybrown 0 Posted December 16, 2006 Very nice update 8) Im not sure about the crystal lights; bananaman had smoked ones and looked unmodded. Im still undecided about rear lights even with the red ones inthe group buy doing the rounds. Very nice car Adam,Did you get sebring your centres?
Ad2408 0 Posted December 16, 2006 I wasn't sure about the crystals when I first saw them but they've really grown on me now.
carpy25 0 Posted December 17, 2006 looking good i keep my eye out for it at shows always nice to see another nugget corrado noticed you removed the side strips , are you leaving them off ? i find dull days don't do the colour any justice but in sunshine in really glows but the best colour is under florescent light like on a petrol station forecourt mine seems to glow with a green tinge try it you will see what i mean Rob
Ad2408 0 Posted December 17, 2006 Thanks for all the comments! carpy25, Think we're going to leave the sidestrips off, they don't seem to do any good anyway as they are/were so low down on the doors (people tend to bump them higher)
chubbybrown 0 Posted December 17, 2006 Ive the same Problems with the bonnet,it needs buffed up or just fades. Nugget,Blackberry or mystic are probably the best colours out there.
randomist 0 Posted December 19, 2006 that's looking well smart now, top job! i just love nugget corrados, one of my top 3 fave colours! keep the pics coming
