BILLCOR 1 Posted December 5, 2006 THANKS ALL! I have looked through the Porsche Rims thread but could find no reference to my question Would 6s on the front be to narrow, would adaptors bring them out,I do not want to alter the arches in any way?????????????????????????????? mrbeige 0 Posted December 5, 2006 No sure on the adapters, but I think 6J would be too small on the front
Riley 0 Posted December 5, 2006 With the 8j either 20mm or 25mm are cool...if running 195/45's. With the 6j you would be needing maybe 40mm? adapters (assuming they are the same et52 as the 8j) Neil.
BILLCOR 1 Posted December 5, 2006 Cheers Guys Kinda thought 6s were a bit narrow  Back on the hunt :)
BigTartanJudge 0 Posted December 5, 2006 Bill, need 7" on front and 8" on rear or ideally 8" all round, et will be 52.5 normally so would use 20mm or 25mm adapters. I can let you know a cheap source ofD90's for refurbing if you require, or there is alwyas sets going on here or more commonly, edition38.

Bendy 0 Posted December 5, 2006 Go for the 9's mate, think they would look rather tasty!! 6's if i remember correctly are et51 so you would need a huge adaptor to get them sitting right as riley said

Bendy 0 Posted December 5, 2006 I would of thought so, im running 9's on mine that are a et20. im running coilovers and its quite close. herisites is running my old brock b2's and there a 9x16 et15 out back and from memory he is running just uprated 40mm drop suspension. so as long as you push them out far enough they will be fine. just aim for et15 out back if you do go for them
