-Neil- 0 Posted December 19, 2006 Ive put it off for a long time due to no space in garage and it being FREEZING outside but i pulled my finger out of my nose and cleaned up the garage yesterday(took me 2 hours) and tonight i gave the wheels one more polish then a good rub-a-dub-dub and now started to lacquer them... i know this will prob crack and might not stay on the alloys due to polish but to be honest as long as it might protect them for a little bit im not bothered! Got the wheels for £60, some polish for £1.50 and lacquer for £15....oh and a bloody lot of elbow grease! Not bad for a home-made effort!
Goldie 2 Posted December 19, 2006 Thats a good effort!! I remember doing this to a set of XR2 Pepperpots many a year ago and being rather proud of them when id finished. They stayed good for ages!!
