No main beams! fuses and bulbs fine?

Recommended Posts

I've been messin around with the rado today....

a while ago the main beams stopped working completely, but i dont use them much anyway(!), so i've only just got around to having a look why...

fuse's are fine but no voltage for the main beams at the lights??? :p

i've recently replaced the headlight switch (due to internal collapse!) and the indicator and wiper stalks are new as well... dont ask why

anyones ideas would be greatly apreciated!

Is it running an uprated loom that you dont know about m8?

Normally knocking around the battery somewhere...a relay with a fuse near by :)

Hey neil,

it did have, looked like it had been thrown in to me though, so i ripped it out.

the wiring is now back to standard.

but the main beams were never part of the uprated loom on mine anyway... only the dipped....

Ahhh bugger :(

Only thing i can suggest is to use a 12v tester, the ones that have a pin on the end to poke at the wires...maybe test for 12v further up the loom near the bulk head?

Not sure sorry m8.

Neil. :(
