NON-DIN style stereo in my DIN rado?

Is it possible to wire a non-din style radio in my rado? My last stereo had the DIN unit. What does the DIN plug do? Can I fit my new alpine in? Its a CDE-9852 Alpine.

What about the plug? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:DIN-8_Diagram.svg This is how the plug looks like that runs to my stereo. It is not found on my new alpine stereo.

You sure thats not a plug for a cd changer? I've never seen any plug like that for a headunit itself

 

Standard ISO plug(s) looks like this:

 

It's common enough for headunits to require an adaptor cable to fit them into standard ISO wiring. But I've never seen a headunit plug that looks quite so different from the standard ISO plugs as yours!

It could quite possibley be the cd changer. I do have a normal ISO plug.

The picture you attached is for a CD changer/ariel.

 

ISO is what you should have for the connections as DEC put in his post.

Does any one have a step by step procedure to removing the aktiv amps? I have no idea where they are or how to remove them. I realized that these are what are distorting my sound quailty. :mad:
