G60 Charger Oil Flow Query

OK,

 

Have just fitted my rebuilt charger courtesy of G Werks.

 

Just for peace of mind I decided to run the charger with the oil return disconnected to satisfy myself that there was sufficient oil flow through the charger.

 

Anyway, with warm oil 70 Deg +, I only get a constant drip out of the charger return hole on tickover.

 

Is this normal?

 

Should I see more of a flow if I raise the engine speed?

 

There is pressure on the feed and the feed pipe is only 500 miles old.

 

Plerase help

Thanks Darren,

 

Wasa tad worried as per my message as the orrifice banjo bolt hole was much smaller (1.5mm dia) compared to the original (4mm).

 

Good, so I can go out and play now...
