labour to fit front wheel bearings

what kind of price should i be paying to both have front wheel bearings replacd on my C. i have been getting quotes £120+ so far

I'd say two hours a side, plus bits...

 

120+ seems a bit high, if you estimate labour @ £20/hour.

 

(Edit, I know somebody's going to say it, but surely bearing's aren't more than twenty quid a side are they?)

sounds fair to me, it's not too difficult a job to remove the front hubs yourself and then get a garage to simply press the bearings on/off for you, but with the front hub nuts needing replacing anyway which are flippin tight, it's best left to a garage if you haven't done it before.

I'd also consider replacing the front outer CV boots while the hubs are off, if they are the original ones.
