What speed are they supposed to go up and down at?

Mine doesnt move automatically but moves on the button...

So the motors fine, what would be causing this? Or should I just give up now?

Have you got one of those speed adjustable head units? If so then take off the speed sensor wire as these stop the spoiler working, it did with mine anyway.

And i think some go up at 45 and others at 55. Mine comes up at 55.

Yeah I think it depends on the age of the car. The spoiler on my old j reg valver used to raise at 45 but on the L reg VR it is 55.

Speed adjustable head unit? Sounds a bit fancy, what do they do? I dont think I have, but thinking about it I remember seeing the spoiler up on the way back from getting the car when it didnt have any stereo in there. When I put it in, I only put on the power, ignition and earth wires though...

Wheres the speed sensor? Could that be at fault? Anyone know how much the replacements are? (silly money I'm guessing...)

Its just the volume of the stereo as your driving. You slow down the volume decreases, you speed up the volume increases. I find them pretty annoying myself.
