Twiss 0 Posted February 22, 2007 I've been offered a set of 195/55/R15 but they have an offset of 45. I know the standard offset for 15 is 35. so would et45 be positive offset which would make the wheels closer to the arches? My car is lowered 40mm and is 16v Plus are the golfs gti 8v have the same PCD ? Thanks Vaughn
herisites 0 Posted February 22, 2007 No mate its the lower the offset number the more the wheels stick out. For example mine are 9x16's all round with et30 on the front which are under the arches and et15 on the rear which stick out the arches. So et45 on those wheels will sit closer to the hub. Twiss 0 Posted February 22, 2007 Arh so by the looks of it then they are gena rub on the inside. Is the measurement done in MM e.g 35mm and 45mm?
