Hows the car on the track? any understeer with thoses h&r anti-roll bars?

 

none what so ever !!!!! they are worth evrey peny !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i could carry more corner speed in graham hill band than my friend si in his porsche 996 gt3 rs ! what he was shocked at. good old v6 over the front wheels.. :D

thanks mate, you should go for it and do a track day ! a corrado vr6 with a few mods will put alot of newer cars in the dark ! :tongue: i did the roof in a vinyl befor we went to the nurburgring last year and its just kinda stayed on ! lol but iam going to le mans next month and the ring again in july so might aswell keep it on for a bit longer !! lol

ok its bin a long time as updates go but heres one quick !! got rid of the cracked fogs and smoked the indicators and new fogs to match the head lights !!! iv also taken the union jack off the roof and re-painted the roof so it looks nice and fresh.. my schimmel 263 cams are here now so il put them in sometime this week to. il have a full report on our road trip to le mans last weekend soon..............................

go them off ebay from the US ! i did put a link on this thread for them. they are around £40. thats alot cheeper than nw oem one! 8)

Yeah I suppose it's just something different, that's why I liked it, kind of added to the racy/trackday look imo. I reckon after a few months you'll miss it and want it back on again!

ok heres pics from our road trip to Le Mans on the 14 and 15 june. we set off to france via the euro tunne. we left sunny East Grinstead at 12.01 am saturday morning and checked in at the euro tunnel at 2.00 am after a short coffe break at a services on the M20. the train left at 3.00 am and we were in france at 5.00 am french time, just as the sun was comming up with no cars on the road !!!!!!fun. from there we set off on a speedy drive to Le Mans around 400 miles away !!! it was all going well untill 11.45am when i was pulled out from the group by some bent french police who done me for speeding ad use of a laser jammer !! the fine was £840.00 euros what i had to pay or the would take the car.... not a great start to the trip but after an hour with them and after giving them there euros we were on our way again and soon after that we were in Le Mans.....

 

We got to Le Mans at 2.00 pm and spent an hour finding some where to set up camp ! once we did that we got the BBQ started and watched some racing !!!

 

ok the trip home was the most fun ! we dove home in company with the best super cars every made from around the world... there was many tunnels were we could really open up the cars and the sound made by the corrado was crazy !! we left Le Mans arond 1.00 pm and need to get to the euro tunnel for 6.24 pm what we did not do !!!!!!!!!!!! we got there 2 mins late. but we got on the next train home what was all good untill the train broke down half way home, and we got stuck in the euro tunnel for an hour and a half ! but we made it home safe by 10.00 pm english time. over 800 miles in 2 days with no sleep for 2 nights !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

the alarm goes of a 2.30am ! then its get up and ready, do some last bit of packing then its out of the door by 3.15am ! then me my dad brother and jimmy blast down to dover to meet up with the rest of the gang, and thats where the holiday starts...... :) We get the 6.00am ferry from Dover to Dunkurck. once in france at around 9.00am french time ! we then set off to germany. un like last year when we spent 7 hours in a french police station !!!!! we made it all the way to germany and to the hotel super fast with no problems ! ( happy days ). after a bit of lunch and chilling out for a few hours, we then said to our selfs lets go up to the ring for a few laps tonight ! who cares if we where up since 2.30 in the morning...... lol

 

 

No need for an alarm clock ! we are up and ready to go by 8.30am and can not wait for the drive of our lifes that lays ahead ! we set off from the hotel at bang on 9.00am and head for the mountin roads !!! the moring is just spent racing up and down the mountins in the Effiel regin of Germany, befor stoping for lunch and the best ice cream in the world in Cocham ! after lunch we then set off to the nurburgring for a few laps....... well over 300 miles coverd in just this 1 day !!!

 

the best way to dry your tent.... lol
