I had 205's on my rado but I have 215's on my mk2, still streched, but scrubbing will depend on how low the cars is and offset of the wheels.

I run 215/40/16 on my 9x16

If you are thinkin of goin v.low i would definately go for 205's

My mate had a vr highline golf and he put 195's on 9x16 :shocked!:

When i got my brocks they had 195's on and they were massively stretched, just looked like someone had painted the rim

Im running 215/40's on mine and they are stretched. I heard before that 215/40 is a much safer stretch than 205/40 dunno if thats true or not :? but i went for 215's because i couldnt get any good tyres in 205 only budgets.

Mine catch though quite a bit with et15 and rolled arches running fairly low, but mines a VR6 with a wider track than the 16v so i should think you will be fine.

You shouldnt have any issues mate but you might want to roll your arches as a precaution as they could still catch even though its not lowered much. Mine didnt catch too much on a 40mm drop on my VR6 which has a wider track than the G60 so you should be fine.
