Heated Seat Wiring Question

Recommended Posts

Thats just greedy!!!!

Yes but all good fun! The Polo is in Basingstoke at the moment having it's wounds sorted: new bumper, windscreen, bonnet, door, bumper and side trims plus an extensive amount of paint and some other bits that took a hit.

VR6 South,

On page 1 of the thread you mention the thick black wire. Just checked my loom and it has the same. Where did you wire that into?

Bill

I have just ordered the two plugs which go into the fuse box from the Stealers at 60p each. So I have yet to find out exactly where the black wire goes. I'll let you know as soon as I've worked it out.

This is maybe the one that's hard-wired into accessory plug D.

Goldie has tried already and it won't work. PM your email address and I'll sent to you.

My seats are now working :D :D I have put the black and blue/black direct to the battery and I've got heat coming from my seats. The black is the live from the ignition, so it is switched, and the blue/ black is for the switch lighting. Just got to get them running from the fuse bow now.
