Advice on converting from 4x100 to 5x100

I'm after some advice on fitting some 17's to my 16v C, which is currently 4x100.

 

What i'd like to know is, what offset should I be running if I convert to 5x100, what size tyres are required for a 7x17 rim without rubbing (my C is only lowered 40mm and I'm not after the euro look) and where can I obtain some suitable hub adapters from??

 

(Yes, I've tried the search, but with little luck...unless i'm doing something wrong!! :cry: )

5x100 are et43 i think

I am assuming that 5x100 is standard VR6 fitment, is this correct???

if your having to use adaptor then an et like 43 is ok. you will get rubbing if you use adaptors and then et of 35-. but if you convert your hubs to 5 stud then you can run lots of different wheels like the audi tt comp
