balboa 0 Posted April 7, 2007 Hey guys...got a mk2 golf with a 2.9 vr6 lump.....over past few days car seems to have lost a bit of power...and this morning the water temp level which is normally dead set in the middle has been rising towards 100...not good....the fans dont kick in at all....and also the top of the engine like the inlet manifold is very hot u can barely touch it...this aint normal at all as normally even after a good thrashing it never gets this hot....what a weekend for me car to get poorly....any help is greatly apreciated.....thanks all......happy easter !!
