help required please!

basically locked my raddo vr6, last nite (with keyfob this alarms and immobilises it) its a vw alarm immob.

 

and then dropped the key fob in water by mistake, i immediatly opened it up and dried it out, then proceeded to try it at the car, it unlocked and switched off the immobilisor, perfect so locked her up again and went inside,

 

then tonite went out to try it, and the red light on the key fob still illuminates when u push the button but doesnt do anything at the car end,

 

tried openeing it up again and cleaned it all carefully with a toothbrush but no differance, any 1 have any advice or help for me?

have you tried moving the switch on the side up or down
