Avon ZZ1

Recommended Posts

Had them on my RS turbo, found them a bit slippy in the wet.

I'm currently running Egale F1's on my Corrado, I wouldn't use any other tyre now. They are wicked! If you can afford the extra give them a go!

I've had loads of Avons & am running some old Avon's on the front, don't really think much of them.. I agree with Dan on the F1's..

I'm running Yokos at the mo on the rear.. seem like good tyres so far.. :D thibking of getting F1's for the front though... :)

Yok's are just as good as the F1's, but are a very soft tyre and wear out very quickly IMO I think you'd see more use from the F1's

I'd say the F1's were soft compared to the likes of the Avon's, but in my experience the Yoks didn't last me very long at all asn are a softer tyre.

Just my 2pence worth

Bally,do you remember how many miles your toyos lasted as im thinking of getting some and have heard mostly excellent comments.

IIRC, the Continental SportContacts won tyre of the year a couple of times? Beat the likes of the F1 on wet/dry grip and noise levels. They're usually really expensive though!

Yeah thats what i thought but you never hear/read about people rating them on forums such as this one.

Topgear prices

195/45R16 Sport Cont V - £57.11

205/45R16 Sport Cont 83H - £69.09

These prices are similar to toyos and the like
