Im back in heaven again!!!!

Just picked my car up from Midland VW after its engine rebuild, and finally, after 11 weeks without it, it should be back on the road for the weekend!!

 

Not only did it feel incredible good driving it again on the way back, but i also managed to get 41, yes 41MPG down the A38, with an average of 37.3MPG for the entire journey!! Owners of the 1.8 valver will know how hard this is to get!

 

Just wanted to share my joy, who would have thought it would feel so good to get your standard daily back on the road!

I know how you feel mate. Mine took 2 months to get the new engine fitted due to xmas etc, felt weird when I got it back originally. No looking back now though ;)

Nice one mate! I'm guessing after all the rebuild work there is a bit of a running in procedure to do?
