Golf VR6 engine loom and corrado vr6 loom are they the same?

im doing a conversion and the engine loom i have is a bit worse for wear, and Im having trouble tracking down a replacement corrado version. So are teh golf (or any other cars) looms the same as a corrado's 2.9 vr6 coil pack version loom?

anyone got any?

They're not identical no. The Golf loom is about 85% the same as Corrado, but some parts of the loom are longer, shorter and different wires.

 

You could get a Golf loom and make one good one out of the two perhaps?

ive used the corrado loom with the vr conversion in my estate and its way too bloody long! bloody miles of the stuff! summer will mostly be spent shortening and tidying

oh yeah and for some odd reason my indicators dont work in the dash, using rado loom and mk3 clocks

wouldnt have thought the engine loom was connected directly to the indicators??

its not, it plugs into the fusebox, everythings plumbed in as it should. just odd but a small price to pay for the burble
