VR6 Ignition Leads

Are the leads the same on a distibutor setup and a coil pack setup the same?

 

All i can see thats different is a slight difference in length.

 

Would it be ok to use distributor set up leads on the coil pack setup?

i got some from dubpower for a coil pack and he told me they were all the same, the kit came with 7 leads, and they work spot on

One set is longer but can't remember which - look on vwspares...

The distributor set up has longer leads. They work with a coilpack but are not very tidy.

Except for the genuine VW parts - apparently the coil pack set have a better attachment at the plug end.

I put the leads on and they were fine. The only thing was that they were slightly longer but managed to tidy it up. The plug end connectors were ok but needed slightly more pressure to get them to 'click' on.
