Leonard 0 Posted May 24, 2007 Will a 16 inch wheel 5x112 offset 35 fit ok on my VR6 with adaptors or will the offset be too much :? I wish I could work these things out myself, but I cant! Thanks in advance Matt :)
Leonard 0 Posted May 24, 2007 Whoops forgot to say they are 7 inches wide Ta Matt
herisites 0 Posted May 24, 2007 IIRC adapters are about 20-25mm aren't they? If so the offset will be 10-15. What width are the wheels? I have 9x16's with et15 on the rear for example and they catch like a bastard and stick out the arches a fair bit. EDIT: Just seen your post with width, 7" might be ok, but may need arches rolled. Leonard 0 Posted May 24, 2007 Nice one thanks for the reply. I think you are right adaptors are 25mm. i dont really want to go to hassle of rolling arches, so i guess they are out. Unless anyone is running something similar ok?????????????????? Cheers Matt
vardo 0 Posted May 24, 2007 http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp hi i believe the offset of the 5x112 is et56,and the 5x100 is et35,[could be mistaken!]but this would mean you need 20mm hub adaptors and this should just clear the arches, try this site for size i find it most useful...
