Rolling Road result!

Recommended Posts

The just put the Storm on the Rolling Road at Witham (part of the Seat RR SE day!) and had 194.8 BHP and 194.7lbft!

Excellent for a standard car with VAG everything!

The 2.8 VR6 golfs (4 of them) all managed 180ish so the RR is accurate.

Just thought i'd let you all know

very good figures you got there................but Golf VR6's are rated at "only" 174bhp......though at the end of the day its all just a calculation and really is just a rough guide to the power you have or have not

nevertheless your figures are pretty good for standard

Two VR6's had the usual air filter and exhaust and the other two were Highlines which should be 180 to 184, so i'm happy.

i'm a bit sceptical about this later mk3 Golf (apart from the LHD-only synchro)more than 174bhp power figure...........afterall why didn't VW broadcast it :?:

To not upset of 174bhp owners, probably?!

The Highline is OBD2, 2.9 throttle body and manifold. Vince says the Highlines put out 185bhp all day long 8)
