Jamie's Magic Black VR6 - New plans

Recommended Posts

Well Id love to :)

Decided to get a few bits done here and there tho to bring the car up to scratch.

Just got Powerflex Poly bushes on it all round (which were a pig to fit!!), and had a full service. Also upgraded the speakers and got a new headunit, the cars done 149,000 miles now so I guess the top end will need some work before it gets charged, plus ive got the chains and tensioners to do before long!

I think the charger will have to wait til next summer, unless i get a nice lump for my whiplash claim :)

Ill put some new pics up next week

Thats a nice looking motor, haven't seen it knocking round the deen though. To be honest I haven't seen many C's at all. I think I need to pay more attention whilst I'm driving!

Time to revive this old thread! After 6 months sat wallowing on my drive due to the damage from an electrical fire, my Corrado will be MOT'd, serviced and back on the road by the end of the week. The damage was mainly to the fuse box and the headlight loom, but since I've got the dash out Ive had the whole dash loom, fusebox and headlight loom replaced. The mirror polished D90's are ready to go on and Ive got some new tyres.

Considering the car has been sat for so long are there any things I should do when its back on the road (ie. running it in)?

Well, after almost a year off the road my VR is back in business! Equipped with all new dashboard electrics, new brake pads, new brake hoses and a fresh MOT!! Considering the car had been stood for so long I was amazed it made it through! Well chuffed! Time to run her in for the Germany trip now woohoo!! :D :D :D

Well what an eventful week it's been for the C. After passing her MOT last week and having a new set of brake pipes fitted, she has now been treated to a new ignition switch (what a pain in the arse that job was :mad2: :bad-words: :censored: ), a full service and some mirror polished rimmage.

Bring on Germany! :D

Jeez.. Almost 18 months since my last post. The Corrado has been in storage for the past year and I've been debating whether or not to sell her. Well, the news is good.

She is going to be getting a top end rebuild, big brake upgrade and a respray. The reason being that I've test driven plenty of newish cars in the last year inc. MK4 R32, Impreza P1, EVO MR FQ 320 but nothing feels as special as the Corrado.

Watch this space.
