1/4 Mile times

best this year was a few weeks ago at santa pod before the crank bolt sheared DOH got a run of 14.7 @ 93mph

 

MODS:

Piper BP270 high lift cam, TSR pack a head, ported and flowed charger, toothed belt drive pulley system for charger, 3.5 bar FPR, sns stg 5 chip, JR induction kit in the wing, Full powerflow custom exhaust with de cat pipe

Well, not a corrado, but a corrado engined mk2 golf.

 

13.75 @ 98mph. which is as far as I know, the quickest normally aspirated VR6 in the country.

James when I had my jabba stg 4 everything else standard my quarters were around the 16.5 @ 83mph mark when the chi[p and pulley came the quarters went down to mid to high 15's

Does anyone else think corrado 1/4 mile times suck. My mate ran a 13.9 in his pretty much standard scooby at santa pod.

Even the modified C's struggle to get below 14's.

If I were a real boy racer, it would really piss me off, luckily the corrado is better to drive than any other car i've been in. Plus the fact that I love the howl of the supercharger :D

ITs down to the gearbox King Prawn.

 

I like the C for its 50mph+ speeds. They get up to 120mph no probs :)
