removing chrome around inpro rears

Recommended Posts

Has anyone done this? If so how did you do it? Just regular matt paint? What about the chrome between the lenses - just wondering what this would look like if it were red or black.

Any ideas or images?

You can also use wet and dry paper to remove it, then primer, then paint. It's what i'm currantly doing to mine.

As Bally has said they look loads better when they are not chrome.

Pics are on their way........

i did mine with wet and dry, smoothed all seams and then used plastic paint, as well as tinting the clear sections so they're all red.

finish isnt crystal anymore, but prefer the look as more oem.

Thanks for that chaps. Looks leagues better without the chroming. Bally, do post up some pics of yours when they're done.
