clock needles - cant get the tacho lined up!

Recommended Posts

I've just changed the faces (again) on my clocks. BUT, i just cnt seem to get the rev counter to read the same as the engine tacho. At the moment the needle rests right next to the stop (underside) and even then it under-reads by about 220rpm. I dont want to set the rest point to be on the top of the rest as it might not fall all the way back. does that make sense???? On removal, the stop point was pretty much in the corner of the dial face, but now it sems to have moved up. Puzzling... :?
