Lamda sensor help needed 2.0 16v raddo

Recommended Posts

Time has come to change the lamda sensor,im running rich, plugs sooted up,tailpipe black. My question is

how to change the sensor is it as simple as unplug, then unbolt and fit a new one or do we need VAG equipment to set up.

The wiring was checked and is ok.

I would say the only thing is that sometimes they're a bar steward to undo, my top tip is to use a monkey wrench.

I'd still give it a good soaking in dismantling lube though...the 3 in 1 stuff that i've got is fantastic.
