Ive had one close encounter...

 

A cop walking passed,he turned back round to ask me if the car was German...i said yeah.

He then looked inside and said...left hand drive???

I said id converted it,and he walked off.

 

Mine are on velcro,with the spare plates in the boot.

I have experienced on 2 separate occasions hostile gestures directed towards me when on the road.
