The running in procedure is as follows mate....

1. Fill tank with petrol.

2. Attach right foot to floor of car.

3. Enjoy :)

Please ensure you use a suitable cam lube when fitting and then hold the rpm @ 2k for a few minuites to take the load of the engine.

ive always poured new engine oil over the lobes and caps when fitting cams but is that good enough for a new cam?

Are you considering getting the fuelling remapped to get the best out of your new cam? Depending on how extreme the cam is, you might find yourself running lean just when it comes onto the cam...

i had sns chip burnt for my spec but that was with a piper 285 which is quite extreme.

id love a remap in future when i can afford it but might get the charger rebuilt first.

its in and cars running, just need to take it for a drive tonight 8)

I got my cams fitted and remapped at Stealth. I got an extra 9bhp just from fitting the cams and a further 10bhp from the remap so defaintely worth doing IMO

ok, took it for a blast last night and although on the iow there isnt really anywhere to go fast for long safely, i managed to give it some stick in 1st,2nd, 3rd.

The difference over a standard cam is amazing, the power comes on so much stronger at 2k and stays there right up through the rev range.

I used to have a piper 285 and that didnt really kick in till 3.5k,but this cam is great

Idle is a tad lumpy from cold but nowhere near as bad as the 285

All in all a great cam that im well chuffed with

Thanks g-werks
