Help needed electric seats and fuse box

Recommended Posts

Before I start smashing my car up with rage :( I'm hoping someone can help :)

I have managed to get the fuse box down but can't pull it far enough to get around the back to plug my spade connector for the electric seat movement and god only knows where the earth rail is. I'm worried If I yank it to much I'm going to start pulling wires put the back.

Please Please give me some help

cheers

Paul

Just to check, have you unclipped the fuse box. It wont pull forward unless you do that. Have a search on here, there is a thread on it somewhere.

EDIT - here it is....http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3933&hilit=fusebox

Hello Jmc,

Thanks for the reply I have managed to unclip the fuxe box but I still can't get to the back of it without pulling loads of wires which I'm a little scared to do just in case one decides on poping out

That's OK, just though i would check (mainly as it got me the first time). You should be able to ease it forward alright when unclipped. You could try and get your hand round the back (ooh er, missus) and keep everything in place when you move it. Although you should be OK (please note disclaimer - any problems arising as a result of this advice are not the fault of the advisee)..... Good luck with it.
