jon daniels 0 Posted August 24, 2007 hi, can anyone help? which of the two oil pressure connections do i use for a pressure gauge? mine is a 1.8 16v on a g plate. i have a gauge showing 0 - 100 i think without looking and a sender to suit, also t piece for sender to fit two but got a yellow wire and a blue wire both going into the filter head? any help would be great, cheers jon
Crasher 3 Posted August 27, 2007 It depends on the spec of the sender. If it is VDO, look on the spanner flats at the base and see if it says 0.3 or 1.8 bar. Is it a dual sender, with two connections?
davidwort 0 Posted August 30, 2007 either, there are two types of dual pole sender (which you're not using anyway) and one replaces one sender, the other, the other, so it doesn't matter which drilling your use for your t-piece and gauge sender, use the one easiest to access.
