Cant remember his name, but it wasnt that one mate.

 

 

Ok cool, I know he's based there and was one of the only uk pilots flying the typhoon at one point! :lol:

 

On another note, we did a Kawsaki hawk bsb bike versus a Hawk last year.. think the jet won!

Ahh snap! Well av/elec as the hawk avionic systems arent exactly complex! Although (if and) when we get the 128 it will be a whole different kettle of fish.. Do you specialise in one aspect or a broad range? What with the complexity of the typhoons systems..

I deal with config management of all of the data on the whole fleet at the moment mate, so not strictly hands on. However, if I was hands on then it would be all of the electrical and avionic equipment, from wiring looms to the RADAR, to the helmet mounted sight etc.
