Henny 0 Posted November 11, 2003 I'm pondering going on a supercar type day some time next year with a mate from work, such is my thirst to drive some of these cars.. Has any body been on any / could they reccomend any in particular? Oooh, oooh, oooh, I forgot! I went on a tank driving and 4x4 course for my 21st with my Dad (50th) and sister (30th)... Anyone know what the new price is on a flipping great tank?!? Gotta be in the high £100,000s hasn't it?!? Jim, have a look for RedLetter days, they do some really good stuff, and if the tank/4x4 day I had was anything to go by, it was really well organised and a huge laugh as well as a great experience... 8) :D
CaiosG60 PWR 0 Posted November 11, 2003 I have only sat in and reved a Ferrari 360 modena!!! But I was pissed out side a casino so it was pritty exciting at the time to say the least. It would probably ruin me if I drove something like that around for a day, it would be really hard to go back to my own car.

He got the p!$$ taken out of him for a few days until his birthday when, sure enough, he turns up driving a brand new Lamborghini as promised!  Funnily enough it was an "off roader" too and the other kids all shut up for a while...

stevemac 0 Posted November 12, 2003 SL 55 AMG - £91,000 8) Nissan 300 ZX I had a Nissan 300ZX (twin turbo) company car for around 3 months. I used to work for Mercedes and have used cars such as SL60 AMG, E55 AMG, C32 AMG, C43 AMG, SL600, S500, etc. The most exciting car I've ever driven has to be a Porsche 911 Turbo (3.2) - a real drivers car.... :rambo: Not bad for a lad who grew-up on a council estate in York !! Matt GTi 0 Posted November 12, 2003 I'm pondering going on a supercar type day some time next year with a mate from work, such is my thirst to drive some of these cars.. Has any body been on any / could they reccomend any in particular? I went on one earlier in the year with work, (christmas bonus), at Palmer Sport, you don't drive ferraris and the like, but you do drive rally spec Evo 6, catheram 7 superlight, vx220 turbo, palmer jaguar JP1 racing car, stripped out racing clio, and a formula palmer audi single seater. The stripped out clio is absolutely awesome, and the guy that took me around the track, is the current clio cup world champion. I've also done a red letter days one as well, and can vouch for how good that is. I went on the classic cars one, and drove a DB6, jag E Type, jag D type, and a few others. I was also taken out by an instuctor in an AC Cobra. I would love to own one of them someday, what a car!

JT 0 Posted November 12, 2003 i did forget about a tvr cerbera 4.2 that i drove to maidstone and back for a viewing it was my sisters boyfriends at the time and he had just bought a bmw m3 convertable (the new one ) with all the extras including the smg box etc, but that tvr was quick it really did do 0 - 100 in 9 secs which was prietty awsome but the guy i drove it too did'nt want it till the following week so i had to drive it back to him a week later but unfortunately my sisters boyfriend had to follow me down in his M3 so you can imagine the fun we had on the way especially as i had the quicker car but he owned them both :D he paid me for it too thats what made me laugh but he got his own back on the return journey by doing 145 which normally does'nt bother me but he had the roof down  fast so so so fast i tell ya :D
