Its been discussed a lot on here (a good reason to use the search!) but general consensus is that it's best to put in a replacement panel filter if you want some noise, remove the airbox snorkel if you want even more noise (use the search for that! trust me, it makes a difference and only takes a few minutes if you want some extra noise!) but generally avoid induction kits on the G60. Some people choose to run them fair enough, but a lot of the g-charger specialists suggest that the cone and foam type filters can't filter the air well enough for the supercharger.. and fine grit works its way into the charger, combines with the oily goo in there and creates a sort of paste which helps grind down the internals of the charger..

I personally would stick with the stock airbox, possibly add a K&N or similar panel filter and remove the snorkel too if you wanna make a bit more noise.

Just so your well informed, removing the snorkel is said to remove a little low down grunt.

I have never tried it on my G so I can't testify to this..

I run the intake as stock and will continue to do so for as long as i own my G60.

Enjoy.
