G19MUD 0 Posted October 5, 2007 Hello All, Still new here so please exscuse my stupidness???? :? I've just purchased a set of Borbet A's (rather cheap) all 9x16 with an offset of ET15. Any ideas on arch work or modifications that may be needed? Car is fitted with Coilovers. New tyres will be fitted, any ideas on sizes? I'm waiting for the rims to be shipped over from Germany. :( Any help would be appreciated! Thanks. 8)
neil20vtc 0 Posted October 5, 2007 i run 205/40/16 tyres on mine which in my opinion is not too much of a stretch and had the rear arches rolled but on really bad bumps it still rubbed even with the coilovers on hardest setting so have recently had the rear arches pulled and the fronts rolled and spaced out slightly but i have my car sat fairly low and do drive quite hard!! hope this helps neil. peanut 0 Posted October 10, 2007 they will rub a bit more on yours mate as the vr runs a wider track than the others, 205/40 is a good size imo for a 9" as Jeff says. All depends how low you want to go really and the make of tyre your going for as each brand and tyre design has a different shoulder. Highly recommend the toyo t1-rs
