Help requested - dashboard removal

As per title - have stripped out all the easy bits, the only bits left connected to the car are the glovebox and the dashboard itself. Don't want to dive in before knowing what damage I'm gonna cause so... Does anyone have a step-by-step guide for muppets from here? Many thanks for lookin'...

Try this mate,but there are three screws on lower bulkhead and there is two more in the top scuttle were the wiper linkage is. so five in total on the engine bay side.

 

There is no need to remove the glove box as there is nothing behind to disconect,just remove it with the dash.

 

Simple case of removing covers,having a look and going from there.

you'll ave fun with the nuts in the scuttle panel.also if your by chance replacing the heater matrix ull have a ball getting the clips off in the engine bay!

There should be two holes in the scuttle bay metal (the bit that seperates it from the engine bay) - on my G60 they have a big bunch of wires and a grommit in but am not sure what other cars are like. If you pull the grommits out it should be easy to put a socket on an extension through to undo the two nuts.

 

Taking the glovebox out makes it easier to undo the wiring clipped behind it but as people say you can probably get away without taking it out!
