taffyjenks 0 Posted December 28, 2007 I have a 1990 Corrado 1.8 16v and I cannot get the engine to turn over off the key.The ignition light come on fine but when I give it the extra turn to fire her up,Nothing!! Supercharged 2 Posted December 28, 2007 Very - try shaking the key as you turn it.... If it's the original switch then change it anyway as the new ones have been improved (polo 6N part) and only get a genuine one Could also be starter solenoid (or the connection to it) sticking but this is more likely in hot weather...
