dtjames 0 Posted January 21, 2008 VW just made a mistake and did a full service rather than a lube - charged me for the latter. Shame ! Unfortunatley, there were a few recommendations: 1 Change rear brake pads 2 Brake Fluid & Anti Freeze change 3 ABS Sensor change 4 New door panel (internal) (5 Change centre exhaust piece due to damaged bracket) What would be a reasonable charge for doing all of this? (I don't think I'll be doing doing #5) Cheers in anticipation :)
saysomestuff 0 Posted January 22, 2008 Brilliant work! I'd say, just work out how much NOT spending a saturday morning out in the cold on the floor is worth to you, that's a fair price
dtjames 0 Posted January 22, 2008 I should say that they mentioned that the pads were approaching the "limit marker" - I only do about 4000 miles/year - should I change them? Anyone able to give what would be a reasonable cost would be a help thx in advance.
