MOT's dont really mean anything already, having them every 2 years would be a disaster... but i guess alot of people would just look at is as a way of lowering runnig costs (-£40 a year plus work that might need doing)

apparently if it goes ahead the mot would cost £100 instead of 50 so the cost would be the same effectively ,and if you failed your first you would then be put on an 12 month test again , but all in all it is a bad idea as far as i am concerned
