swiftkid 1 Posted March 20, 2008 Im not really sure which section this should be in but just recently my car has developed a rather annoying habit of setting the washer jets going on its own and then keeping them spraying. I can stop it by flicking the stalk back a little bit but it seems to come on when go over a bump in the road. As you can imagine this is incredibly annoying!!! Its a 1.8 16v early spec, i fitted a new adjustable steering column replacing a non adjustable one following a theft attempt and the wires are a bit tight but that was a while ago and its been fine.
