Ben, I emailed C&R about this and the reply I got was this....

I’m sorry but unfortunately that is the situation with the Corrado but not with the Golf 1 or 2 (not G60) as on those I can sell the drum brake model 4 line set and add the rear Golf 4 caliper conversion hoses. The problem is that for the Corrado alone I would have to keep another three Goodridge sets in stock and to cover the Golf 3, another 2 sets, that’s before you factor in converting to 288-mm calipers on both these, so another 5 sets to cover that area as well and I have shelves full of the different sets already. The thing Roy did forget is your Corrado forum 10% parts discount so that would help soften the blow. One other point, if you do want to order these, I need your chassis number as the length of the front hose changed in 1990.

This was so I could get the G60 & MKIV hoses to uprgrade front and rear, but aparently I will be left over with hoses that I dont need as they can't split sets. I think the left over hoses where the rear ones :gag: Guess thats just the way it is, I have quoted your part numbers to a few places and they say they dont exsist

^ Thats fair enough as Goodridge charge alot more for the hoses seperatly and don't seem to be prepared to make a custom kit up...

If you do buy direct from Goodridge i'd advise paying the extra and getting the stainless steel option - my 3 year old ones are noticably rusty now, I reckon they will be an MOT advisory in another 3....
