oli1vw 0 Posted April 29, 2008 Hi Was a bit impatient to jump into the corrado and broke the door mechanism such that the central locking works but the door does not open. I have tried to take the door mechanism off from the door but the screw holding it will not move. The screw is on the side of the door where the door mechanism is ( drivers side). Before I take a drill to the little ******, which way does the screw unscrew? Have tried both but want to be sure. Thanks Oli
Supercharged 2 Posted April 29, 2008 Some cars had a reverse thread on the drivers side - make sure you use the correct screwdriver too - socket driver bit is best if it's tight...
n3p 3 Posted April 29, 2008 Mine was a reverse thread - snapped a screwdriver trying to force it the 'normal' way
