My question is, Will the Mk5 Gti Steering wheel just slide on like the standard wheel. Im not worried about using the horn. My other question is how does the air bag fit in the center section, again I don't want it to work just to look right. Read somewhere that you might have to debag it, is that easy or necessary? 12 DEG BEN 0 Posted May 23, 2008 I gave it some thought recently. Wheel size is good but whether it fitted was always a bit of a grey area. I considered mounting an aftermarket boss slip ring to a modern wheel to rig up a horn but went cold on the idea. Id be interested in the results if you give it a go.
