how many rados in ireland?

Recommended Posts

Hi all. I've been a member for a while but this is my first post.

Seem to spend all my time doing searchesand gathering info which is very usefull,

many thanks for all the help so far.

Thers are two rados in Portlaoise. A storm which i have as my daily for almost three

years now and about a year ago i became the proud owner of what most on here

refer to as "campaigns campaign". She only comes out in fine weather as she doesnt

like the rain. thats next to get attention.

@corradodude. The plates are available. My initials are also jb. Told the missus it was a

sign to justify the purchase.

@all the Irish corrados Lets do it.

Well hello from another Campaign owner. :)

Hi folks - Good to know that the ol' Camp' is still being cared for :) I thought it had new plates when it went west of the border? Sorry for not keeping them, it all went a bit pearshaped when I sold the ol' girl :(

It is on a Northern Irish plate. When i sold it the paint work was a bit shabby but it seems he has sorted that. The car still run so i don't know of any engine issues. I sold it to him for 900 quid so i guess he's looking his money back on the respray.

I'm moving to N.Ireland later in the year chaps. Any Corrado service specialists there? It doesn't seem to be that there are many about there.

Hi guys,

Another Corrado owner here :D

I live on the Tyrone, Donegal border. I've brought 2 Corrado's accross the pond, a tornado Red 16v and a silver VR (which I still have). The guy I sold the 16v also has a red G60. There is a black 2.0 in Donegal about 8miles from me, he also had a G60 but it was crashed & he was breaking it for parts. My C was in storage for almost 4yrs and its coming out again next week. I'd be interested in a meet up somewhere.

Regarding C specialists, I don't know of any but I take mine to a VW dealer in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal and they're fairly enthusiastic about the Corrado

Ok, so just to get the ball rolling... what about some of the hotel car parks near the Airport. Either Belfast or Dublin Airports, doesn't matter to me :D

I'd be well up for a meet chaps, although err...due to my job, certain parts of NI are out-of-bounds for me. I have no idea which ones they are yet, as I've never been there.

Once I'm there, discovered where I'm allowed to go etc, then I'll be well up for a meet.

I forgot... the largest VW dealer in Ireland is Issac Agnew, they're based in Belfast & last year they had a Red G60 in their showroom. Think it belonged to the bosses son so I'm sure they'll be more than helpful to you :)

Numbers building up :D
