waynos 0 Posted June 3, 2008 just want some opinions about work carried out on superchargers as mine is going to need a rebuild soon. I know to steer clear of jabbasport lol. Anyone know of any rebuilders in london? as ideally i dont want the car off the road for too long as its my daily.
boost monkey 0 Posted June 3, 2008 it's drivable without the charger on mate, it'll just be a LOT slower! Talk to G Werks about charger rebuilds.
JMC 0 Posted June 3, 2008 G-werks mate. Depending on where you are in London it will take an hour or 2 to get to them. They can turn it around in a day, so take it down one saturday if you can (but book first as saturdays are very busy).
Guest Posted June 14, 2008 Why steer clear of Jabba sport? I had my Rallye done by them, and my Corrado charger was done by them 6k ago, alls good I have heard lots of good things about G-werks but have never used them yet, and to be fair they are far closer to me than Jabba is so i would probably go there in the first intance, but i cant fault the service i have had from Jabbasport over the years
Yandards 0 Posted June 14, 2008 G-werks, darren is really very good and their rebuilt chargers have been around long enough that any build issues would result in a few going pop - like Jabbas did or maybe still do.
Guest Posted June 24, 2008 No saying G-werks arent the boys to see, but when i had my Rallye done they didnt exist!!! so Jabba it was, and as far as im aware the charger is still going strong 5 years on, on my old Tornado red Rallye, G64 FBL, think its somewhere in Leicester  As any one with a G40 0r G60 knows, its all part of the fun of "when" will it go bang  and i have seen it happen to chargers that are low mileage and never re built by anyone
