del68 0 Posted December 2, 2003 Quick question.... is £55.00 a fair price for a genuine VW workshop maual for the Corrado? I know the Bentley one is nearly twice that,
dr_mat 0 Posted December 2, 2003 Bentley can be had for less than £70, on amazon.com IIRC.
dr_mat 0 Posted December 2, 2003 http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... e&n=507846 There ya go - $90 US, plus shipping. Should work out at around £70 after all the miscellaneous expenses.
del68 0 Posted December 2, 2003 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... =9889&rd=1 Looks genuine.
dr_mat 0 Posted December 2, 2003 That item is only the service manual - it's not the bentley. It certainly won't cover trim, bodywork etc etc. It might tell you how to change the cambelt, or changing brake pads and how often you have to do it, but Bentley it's not. YMMV. I think that it does cover trim, bodywork etc. (my copy does). I would say that £55 is a fair price for a set of all 3 workshop manuals, bodywork/trim, gearbox and electrical diagrams but not for just one of them. Mind you given the rarity of them then it depends how much the buyer is willing to pay. neil 94 Flash Red 16v
dr_mat 0 Posted December 2, 2003 Ok, I'm sure you're right lesarcsneil, I was just going from the item description. There are quite a few of these manuals popping up on ebay now, I suspect some ex-dealership is shifting it's old stocks.
