supercharged burgers 0 Posted June 17, 2008 how's it going out there, bought a g60 with dodgy sunroof tilt only, it was a nice car so that wasn't gonna put me off. tried to fix it this evening i found that one side wasn't down enough to let i slide , after a bit of adjustment it went back but was very stiff i then stopped halfway ,i closed sunroof and hay presto there's a scratch on the dodgy side.my ?is do i have to drop the whole sunroof track and all, or is there a easier fix don't mind dropping it but just taught i'd ask ????? :( all knowledge sent will be greatly appreiciated on me other planet :grin: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
awright182 0 Posted June 18, 2008 I think everyone is ignoring you because there is lots of info on this if you search. If you carry on trying to operate it you will break the passenger side cable anchor point and then you're looking at £120 to fix it I have mine in bits at the moment. It takes a couple of hours to take it apart and dismantle it. It's cheaper to get a replacement from a Mk III Golf and swap over the bits you need than go to the dealers for new bits. Has any body got a broken sunroof. The bit I need isn't one of the bits you get as part of the repair kit? Andy Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
