cardboard 0 Posted June 22, 2008 just pulled into the petrol station and put my hand brake on. then went to pull away after removing the handbrake and it felt heavy, i thought id left it on but i hadnt. if i pull up the handbrake lever there is no resistance till it is near the top. it was only 2 miles to my house so i tentatively drove home. i think it is only the off side which is jammed. it stinks now tho!! any ideas what could have caused this and how to fix it? could it just be the cable has got misaligned or summat?? cheers

coolrado 0 Posted June 24, 2008 you just need the calipers and a conversion hose kit, use the original corrado carriers. you can get away without the hose conversion kit (on a G60 at least) if you just use the entire rear brake pipe system from the mk4 golf, as thats what i did, not sure it would work on a vr though?
